CAD Draftsman

 

Responsibilities / Job Description

 

Summary:

The CAD Draftsman operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer system, including creating, updating and modifying drawings and performs manual drafting.

 

• Essential FunctionPlanning, drafting and submission of structural drawings detailing of the given structures, components and devices in AutoCAD

• Produce draft designs and diagrams according to the given specifications

• Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data

• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products

• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements

• Assist and coordinate with designers and engineers

• Assists in System Design, coordination projects and generate detailed drawings

• Up keep engineering filing system including maintenance of drawings & supports documentation control

• Performs other related duties, as assigned

 

Requirements:

• NITEC/Diploma in Drafting/Engineering or related field

• Proficient in Autocad, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft office

• At least 1-3 years of working experience in the related field is required

• Familiar with Technical Drawings

• Able to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision

• Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills

• Meticulous, responsible and organized

• Positive attitude to learn and willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges

• A team player, proactive and able to interact with people of all levels

 

Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range:

$1700 to $2700 subjected to experience
