Overview:

A leading distributor bringing innovative clinical diagnostic and research tools to life scientists, medical doctors, clinical researchers, laboratory professionals, and clinicians who are involved in basic research, drug discovery and development, biopharmaceutical production, and disease management.

You may be expected to work at various levels, from direct liaison with management to the front end of the business dealing directly with customers. You are expected to understand and satisfy their customers' requirements and exceed their expectations whenever possible. The main aim is to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Have an understanding of the whole product portfolio of the company, customer base and identify areas of improvements towards customer satisfaction.

  • Have a deep understanding of comapny’s process flow.

  • Help to develop and improve customer oriented policies by ensuring processes are adhered to and improved.

  • Responding to customer requests for quotes/enquiries in the shortest time; Requests should be responded within 1 day.

  • Handling the general sales enquiry email.

  • Monitoring and liaising with Business Managers for all tenders and quotations.

  • Achieve (at a minimum) assigned sales and gross profit targets.

  • Manage, maintain and grow the assigned accounts. A clear understanding and knowledge of assigned accounts is paramount.

  • Implement set product strategies and to follow described sales processes

  • Ensure & submit proper, accurate, timely and complete sales reports, forecasts and market information.

  • Provide pre and post sales service and support.

  • Ensure appropriate level of industry and competitive knowledge.

  • Prospect new accounts and opportunities.

  • Support management’s directives and efforts.

  • Be a team player to all departments in the company.

  • Perform any other related duties as Management may require.

Expectations:

  • Related working experience preferred. 

  • Able to start working within short notice.

  • Fast learner, dedicated, committed, self-driven and responsible individual.

  • Ability to adapt fast-paced working environment.

  • Prospect, develop and drive sales plans.

  • Manage all key accounts and identity new customers.

  • Evaluate customer needs and market competitors.

  • Manage sales strategies to improve market share and profitability for the business.

  • Provide regular reports to the management on sales movements and market intelligence.

  • Build the company's image in the market as reliable partner for all their needs.

Salary:

S$2,500 basic salary, depending on qualifications and working experiences.

Commission: Quarterly commission if able to meet sales target.

Transport: Monthly allowance of S$1,500 if driving, else taxi-fare is claimable.
